Have you ever been SO hungry that you couldn't think about anything else? Imagine that — but for FORTY DAYS. That was me. And it was exactly where I needed to be.

Right after my baptism — this incredible moment where my Father's voice thundered from heaven saying, "This is my Son, whom I love" — the Holy Spirit led me straight into the wilderness. Not to a feast. Not to a celebration. Into a dry, scorching desert with nothing but rocks and dust and silence.

For forty days and forty nights, I fasted. No food. My body grew weak. My stomach ached. The sun beat down during the day, and the cold crept in at night. And that's when HE showed up.

Satan. The devil himself. And he came with a plan.

He looked at the stones scattered across the ground and said, "IF you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread." Did you catch that word? IF. He was trying to make me DOUBT who I was. And yeah — I was starving. Bread sounded incredible. But I knew the truth. So I told him: "It is written: Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God."

That didn't stop him. He took me to the highest point of the temple in Jerusalem and said, "IF you are the Son of God, throw yourself down. The angels will catch you!" He even quoted Scripture at me — twisted it, tried to use my Father's own words as a trap. But I saw right through it. I answered: "It is also written: Do not put the Lord your God to the test."

Then came the big one. He took me to a massive mountain and showed me ALL the kingdoms of the world — every nation, every throne, every bit of power and glory — and said, "Bow down and worship me, and it's ALL yours."

That's when I shut it down. "Away from me, Satan! For it is written: Worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only."

And just like that — he left. Angels came and took care of me.

Here's what I want you to remember: temptation is REAL. It will come for you. It will come when you're tired, hungry, lonely, or doubting. But you have the same weapon I used — the Word of God. When you know what God says, the enemy can't trick you. So fill your mind with truth. It's your sword, and it NEVER fails.
