Hey there! I am so glad you're here. My name is Jesus, and I've got an incredible story to tell you. Actually — it's THE story. The one that started everything.
Close your eyes for a second and picture... nothing. No light. No sound. No ground beneath your feet. No sky above your head. Just total, complete darkness. Kind of scary, right?
Now imagine a voice cutting through that darkness like thunder — my Father's voice — and He says four words: "Let there be light."
BOOM. Light explodes everywhere. The very first sunrise that ever existed. No one was there to see it except God Himself. And that? That was just Day One.
Day Two — God spreads out the sky. This massive, endless blue ceiling above the earth. Day Three — He pulls the oceans together and pushes up dry land. Mountains shoot up! Valleys carve out! And then He fills the ground with plants — wildflowers, giant redwood trees, fruit dripping off every branch.
But He's just getting warmed up.
Day Four — God hangs the sun, the moon, and billions of stars in space. Think about that — billions of stars, and He placed every single one. Day Five — the oceans start swarming with life. Whales the size of school buses. Tiny seahorses. Eagles soaring overhead. Hummingbirds buzzing past.
Day Six — this is where it gets really wild. God fills the land with animals. Lions. Elephants. Tree frogs. Puppies. Every creature you've ever seen — and a whole lot you haven't.
And then... God does something totally different. He kneels down, scoops up dust from the ground, and forms a man — Adam. But Adam's not alive yet. Then God leans in and breathes into him. His own breath. And Adam opens his eyes for the very first time — and the first thing he sees is the face of God.
God looked at Adam and said, "It's not good for you to be alone." So He caused Adam to fall into a deep sleep, and from his side, God formed a woman — Eve. The first team. The first family.
Then Day Seven — God rested. Not because He was tired — I mean, He just built the universe! He rested to give us a gift. To show us that rest matters.
And when God looked at everything He had made, He said two words: "Very good."
Here's what I need you to know — you are part of that creation. God didn't accidentally make you. He was just as intentional with you as He was with the stars and the oceans. You are very good too.
