Alright — last time, Solomon asked God for wisdom. Now you're about to see that wisdom in action. And trust me, this story is wild.

Two women came before King Solomon. They lived in the same house, and both had newborn babies. But during the night, one of the babies died. The mother of the dead child secretly switched the babies while the other woman was sleeping. She took the living baby and put her dead son in the other woman's arms.

When morning came, the second woman woke up to nurse her baby — and realized the dead child wasn't hers. But the first woman insisted, "No — the living baby is MINE."

So now both women are standing before the king, each one screaming, "He's MY son!" No witnesses. No evidence. No DNA test. Just two desperate women and one baby.

What would you do? Seriously — how do you solve that?

Here's what Solomon did. He called for a sword.

The whole room went silent.

Solomon said: "Cut the living child in two. Give half to one woman and half to the other."

Can you imagine the gasps in that throne room? People's jaws hitting the floor?

But watch what happens next — because this is where wisdom does its work.

The real mother — the one whose son was actually alive — her heart was RIPPED apart. She cried out: "Please, my lord — give her the baby! Don't kill him! Just let him live!"

But the other woman? She said: "Neither of us shall have him. Cut him in two."

And right there — Solomon had his answer.

He pointed to the first woman and said: "Give the living baby to HER. She is his mother." Because the real mother would rather lose her child than see him destroyed.

Solomon never intended to hurt that baby. He knew that love — real, selfless love — would reveal itself under pressure. And it did.

When all of Israel heard about this judgment, they were in awe of their king. They saw that the wisdom of God was in him to administer justice.
