A religious expert walked up to me one day trying to test me. He said, "Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?" I turned it back on him: "What does the law say?" He answered perfectly: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, strength, and mind — and love your neighbor as yourself." I said, "You nailed it. Do that and you'll live."
But he wasn't satisfied. He wanted to justify himself. So he asked the question that changed everything: "And who is my neighbor?"
He wanted me to draw a line. He wanted me to say: your neighbor is the person who looks like you, talks like you, lives near you. Instead, I told him a story.

The Samaritan didn't do the bare minimum. He went ALL in — transported the man, nursed him overnight, paid the innkeeper, and promised to cover any extra costs. That's complete, generous love.
What did Jesus say after telling the story?
Three simple words with massive implications. Don't just hear this story — LIVE it. Be the one who stops. Be the one who crosses lines to show love. Go and do likewise.
