What Is the Story of Faith Hope and Love for Kids?
LETTERS TO THE CHURCHES — EPISODE 5 "Faith, Hope, and Love" Based on 1 Corinthians 13:13 and Hebrews 11:1 Jesus Narrates
At the end of his famous chapter on love, Paul writes one final line that sums up everything: "And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love."
Three things that last forever. Everything else fades — money, popularity, trends, technology — but faith, hope, and love? They endure. They're eternal. And today I want to show you why these three are the foundation of everything.
The book of Hebrews puts it like this: "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." That's a big sentence, so let me break it down. Faith means trusting something is real even when you can't see it. You can't see the wind, but you feel it. You can't see gravity, but you trust it every time you take a step. Faith in me is like that. You can't see me with your eyes — but you trust me with your life. You believe my promises are true, even before they come true.
This story comes from Romans/Corinthians/Ephesians and is part of the New Testament.

Parent's Guide: Why This Story Matters
Every Bible story is an opportunity to talk with your child about faith in a natural, low-pressure way. After watching, ask an open-ended question like 'What was your favorite part?' or 'What do you think God was trying to teach us?' These conversations do not need to be long or perfect. The goal is simply to make the Bible feel like a living, relevant part of your family's life, not something dusty on a shelf.
