CHARIOTS OF FIRE

Hey kids — we've reached the FINALE of the Elijah and Elisha series, and I saved one of the most incredible stories for last. Invisible armies, opened eyes, and a truth that will change the way you see EVERYTHING.
The king of Syria was at war with Israel, setting up secret ambushes to trap the Israelite army. Except every single time, Elisha warned the Israelite king EXACTLY where the trap was.
The Syrian king was LOSING HIS MIND. He demanded, "Which one of you is a spy?!" An officer spoke up: "None of us, my lord. It's Elisha, the prophet in Israel. He knows the words you speak in your BEDROOM."
My Father sees everything — and He told Elisha what he needed to know.
The Syrian king sent horses, chariots, and a massive army to capture Elisha in a city called Dothan. They surrounded the ENTIRE city in the middle of the night.
Early the next morning, Elisha's servant stepped outside and his blood went cold. Soldiers. Chariots. Weapons. An army circling the entire city. NO way out.
The servant panicked: "Oh no, my master! What are we going to DO?!"
Elisha — calm as can be — said: "Don't be afraid. Those who are with us are MORE than those who are with them."
More?! It was just the two of them!
Then Elisha prayed: "Lord, OPEN his eyes so he may see."
And God opened the servant's eyes. The hills around them were COVERED — absolutely FILLED — with horses and chariots of FIRE. A blazing heavenly army surrounding the enemy. God's forces had been there the whole time. The servant just couldn't see them.
Those who are with us are MORE than those who are with them.
Then Elisha prayed that the enemy would be struck with blindness. God did it. The entire Syrian army went blind. Elisha walked right up to them: "Follow me — I'll lead you to the man you're looking for." He led them straight into Israel's capital — into the hands of the Israelite king!
When their eyes were opened, they realized where they were. But instead of killing them, Elisha told the king to feed them a great feast and send them home. The raids stopped.
Here's what I want burned into your heart: you are NEVER alone. When you're surrounded by problems, by fear, by enemies that seem too big — My Father's army is all around you. You just can't see it. But it's there. Always.
Don't be afraid. Those who are with you are MORE than those who are against you.
