God said: "Go to a town called Zarephath. I've commanded a WIDOW there to feed you." Now hold on — a widow in those days was one of the poorest people in society. No husband meant no income. God was sending Elijah from one impossible situation to another. That's just how My Father rolls.
So Elijah arrives at Zarephath and finds this woman gathering sticks. He calls out, "Hey, could you bring me some water? And while you're at it — a piece of bread?"
