Let me tell you about a conversation that changed Peter's life — and it happened right after breakfast.

Remember Peter? The one who said he would NEVER deny me? The one who swore he would die for me? Well, the night I was arrested, Peter denied me three times. Three times someone asked if he knew me. Three times he said no. And after that third denial, a rooster crowed — and Peter remembered what I had told him. He went outside and wept bitterly. His heart was shattered.

Now here we are, days after I rose from the dead. We just had breakfast together on the shore — fish and bread over a charcoal fire. And I looked at Peter and asked him a question.
