Let me tell you about the day I left earth — and why it was the best thing that could have happened.
Forty days. That is how long I stayed after the resurrection. Forty days of walking with my disciples, eating with them, teaching them, proving beyond any shadow of doubt that I was alive. I appeared to Peter, to the eleven, to more than five hundred people at once. No one could say it was a dream or a trick. I was ALIVE — and I made sure everyone knew it.
I gathered my disciples together one final time near the village of Bethany, just outside Jerusalem. And I gave them one last instruction — the most important instruction they had ever received.

What did the two angels say to the disciples?
"This same Jesus will come back in the same way you have seen Him go". The angels promised that Jesus would return in the same way He left — visibly, physically, and from the sky.
Why did Jesus say He was leaving?
So the Holy Spirit could come and live inside every believer. Jesus left so that something better could come — the Holy Spirit, God Himself, living inside every believer, every moment.
